Moreton Bay Regional Council Business of the Year will be announced at the Gala Awards ceremony.

The 2018 Awards program is proudly delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council. A special thanks to the award category sponsors for their support.

MBRIT CEO Shane Newcombe now encourages nominees and finalists, along with their friends and family, to join in what promises to be the ‘night of nights’ for the local business community.

“The Gala Awards are a great opportunity to get behind local operators, students and community groups as they take to the stage and are recognised for all their hard work,” Mr Newcombe said.

“We not only have a thriving business community here in the Moreton Bay Region but also a very supportive one, and we look forward to welcoming everyone along on 30 November to help celebrate.”

Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland congratulated the region’s local business community for their support of the 2018 Moreton Bay Business Excellence and Innovation Awards.

“The line-up of applications this year is very strong, demonstrating the incredible depth of talent and the high quality of products and services on offer across our region,” Mayor Sutherland said.

“Council is proud to support the Business Excellence and Innovation Awards to celebrate and recognise the hard work and achievements of our local businesses, industry and innovators,” he said.

“This year’s awards ceremony is on track to sell out and I look forward to celebrating the businesses and individuals who make such an invaluable contribution to our $17 billion local economy.”
