This award recognises a not-for-profit organisation in the Moreton Bay Region that, over the past 24 months, has delivered strong, community-based initiatives that positively impacts on, and delivers long-term benefits for the community. These organisations may operate social enterprises, deliver social services and/or undertake charitable work and exist for educational, charitable or social reasons and from which its shareholders, owners or trustees do not benefit financially from its activities.

A Brave Life

A Brave Life is a registered Not-for-Profit organisation that helps to alleviate the risks of ongoing poverty, misfortune and helplessness experienced by many teenage and young mothers by assisting them to complete their education, pursue their dreams and provide practical support.

Intercept Youth and Family Support Program

Intercept Youth and Family Support Program provides early intervention and prevention services for young people and their families in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area. Intercept delivers several programs supporting young people aged 10 up to 25years.

The Carers Foundation

Established in 2015, The Carers Foundation is the only charity in Australia that provides 3-day Wellness Programs to Carers at NO COST to them. Located 30 minutes north of Brisbane, Wellness Programs are provided on-site in a private tranquil retreat.
