This award will recognise an individual for their extraordinary professional achievement and contribution to their organisation. Applications for this category must be submitted by an employer or colleague of the nominee. The nominee must have worked with the organisation for a minimum of 24 months.

Andrew Luke – Packer Leather Pty Ltd

Andrew Luke is recognized for his innovation, skills and expertise within the international leather industry. When the widely recognized Imperial College - London said to World Cricket " a pink leather cricket ball could not be produced"...Andrew and his team, together with Kookaburra proved that it could.

Kai McCoy – Bramble Bay Co

Kai McCoy has been Designing, and Product Developing with Bramble Bay Co since 2019 and considers the last crazy few years as an integral influence on her creativity. One of her proudest projects was amid the global pandemic, creating a successful jewellery range that helps people with their mental well-being and has so far raised tens of thousands of dollars to fight mental health stigma.

Teena Ryder – Intercept Youth and Family Support Program

Teena Ryder has been the lead facilitator at Intercept Youth and Family Services Youth Justice Education and Training (YJET) program for 8 years. YJET provides an alternative approach to education for young people aged 14-17 at risk of disengaging from mainstream education and/or involved with youth justice.

Teena has supported hundreds of young people complete YJET’s foundational program to prepare them to successfully re-enter the education system or transition into further vocational training, and not fall through the gaps.

Therese Thomson – Sesame Lane Care & Kindergarten

Therese has dedicated 21 years of Service to the children and families of the Moreton Bay Region. She has established respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and runs a high-quality education and care program at Sesame Lane Care & Kindergarten, Clontarf. She is a highly respected mentor and role model in the Early Learning Sector, giving freely of her knowledge and time.
